The executive assistant from Salisbury said she enjoys playing a few scratch-offs each week. On Friday, she selected a couple of games from Lottery retailer Express Lane in Salisbury on her way to kick off her wild weekend. The scratch-off fan selected a single $100,000 Instant Jackpot instant ticket and returned to her car to play the $10 game.
The lucky player discovered her win shortly after she began to scratch. After matching one of the winning numbers on her instant ticket, the surprised woman revealed the $100,000 prize.
“I cannot describe the shock I was feeling,” said the winner. “I felt like I was going to be sick.”
The dazed player returned to the store to verify her Lottery luck. She recalls that the clerk somehow knew that something had happened. “She started asking me if everything was okay,” said the winner.
