Pair of FAST PLAY Players Win Six-Figure Prizes in Baltimore, Catonsville

Winning progressive top prize tickets sold in Lucky Numbers, Payday games
It has been a lucky few days for fans of the Maryland Lottery’s FAST PLAY progressive top prize games, Lucky Numbers and Payday.
On Saturday, Sept. 19, a FAST PLAY Lucky Numbers ticket hit the progressive top prize of $172,829. It was the 12th progressive top prize won in the $10 game. The lucky purchase occurred at 6:41 p.m. at 7-Eleven #35731 at 1769 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore. The winner visited Lottery Headquarters in Baltimore on Sept. 22 and claimed the prize.
Meanwhile, on that same day, Lottery luck hit again – this time in Catonsville.  At 12:41 p.m. on Sept. 22, a customer at Soda Pop Shop at 1026 Ingleside Avenue bought a FAST PLAY Payday ticket that paid a progressive top prize of $142,160. It is the fourth progressive top prize Payday ticket to be sold.
The two retailers have reason to celebrate as well: Each store will earn a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the winning tickets.
Lottery officials urge winners to sign the backs of their tickets and keep them safe until claiming their prizes. Winners typically get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. However, the Lottery has temporarily extended claiming deadlines due to Maryland’s COVID-19 state of emergency.
Winners can claim by mail or in person by appointment at the Lottery Customer Resource Center. Get details on how to claim by mail here or schedule an appointment here.
