Players across Maryland won nearly $35.1 million during week ending June 19
Two Maryland Lottery players are new millionaires courtesy of a Cash4Life ticket and a Money Explosion scratch-off.
The Snider family from Gambrills is on the hunt for a bigger house after dad Gregory Snider claimed the second-tier Cash4Life prize. The 33-year-old heavy equipment operator claimed the prize accompanied by his wife, Sarah Brown. Meanwhile, an avid player from Harford County purchased multiple scratch-offs including a lucky Money Explosion game that surprised him with its $1 million top prize.
Those were two of 38 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed in the seven days ending June 19.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
