Towson’s “Crabby Lady” plans to add a bushel of crabs to the list of things she’ll get after winning a $100,000 top prize playing the Show Me $100,000! scratch-off.

A bushel of delicious steamed crabs are on the menu for a Towson woman, who nicknamed herself “Crabby Lady” for Lottery publicity after claiming a $100,000 top prize on a Show Me $100,000! scratch-off.
The 61-year-old was shopping at the Towson Town Center with her adult daughter on Friday when she was reminded to buy scratch-offs. The big winner prefers the $10 scratch-off games and normally purchases them in threes. She is especially fond of the “Show Me” games, she told Lottery officials, because she loves the Lottery commercial for them.
So, “Crabby Lady” purchased three of the Show Me $100,000! instant tickets from the Cigare By Tobacco Etc. store inside the mall. She and her daughter played them at her daughter’s apartment as the two of them sat outside on the deck.
“I told her if I win, I’ll buy a dozen crabs,” said “Crabby Lady.”
The lucky lady let her daughter scratch two of the games and she scratched the final instant ticket. The daughter proclaimed that her mother never wins as she scratched her two instant tickets, which were not winners. “Crabby Lady” proved her daughter wrong when she scratched her way to a $100,000 top-prize win.
